How to Cook Easy Sweet Potato
2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch chunks

1/2 cup half-and-half
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons light-brown sugar
Coarse salt and ground pepper
1. In a saucepan with a steamer basket on top, bring water to a boil. Make sure the water doesn’t touch the basket. Reduce the heat, put the sweet potatoes in the basket and cover it. Cook for 15-25 minutes or until soft, then drain and put them neck in the pan.
2. In another small saucepan, mix half-and-half, butter and brown sugar and bring to a boil. Stir until homogeneous and remove from heat.
3. Add the mixture to the cooked potatoes and mash until it’s soft.
4. Finally, add the salt and pepper.
