With just a few quick steps and simple ingredients you can easily prepare delicious ribs using your slow cooker. Choose your favourite barbecue sauce, put everything in the slow cooker and then finish off in the oven for an amazing meal.
How To Make Easy Slow Cooker Ribs
Ingredients (serves 4)
1. Put 450g of the barbecue sauce and all the rest of the ingredients in the slow cooker, using the salt and pepper to season to taste. You may need to divide the ribs to get them to fit into the slow cooker.
2. Cook on low for 8-9 hours or high for 4-6 hours, until the ribs are tender but not falling off the bone.
3. Heat oven to 200◦C.
4. Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place on a foil-lined baking tray. Brush with the remaining barbecue sauce and cook for 20-25 minutes until the sauce is caramelized and the ribs are sticky.
If you would like to finish the ribs on the barbecue then repeat steps 1 and 2 and cook on the barbecue, turning occasionally, until the ribs are piping hot.
