How To Make Easy Pan Seared Sirloin Steak
Ingredients (serves 2)
• 2 200g sirloin steaks
• Olive oil
• Ground black pepper
1. Remove the steaks from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to allow to meat to come up to room temperature.
2. Rub a drizzle of olive oil over each steak and season with salt and a generous amount of black pepper.
3. Place a non-stick cast iron or grill pan on a high heat. When the pan is hot, add the steaks and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
4. Remove the steaks from the pan and allow to rest for at least 3 minutes before serving.
