You love vodka but you’re bored of the same 10 cocktail recipes? Leave your Cosmo, Martini and other vodka-orange juice on the side and try this! If you’re unfamiliar with it, the Moscow Mule is a 75-year-old drink made of vodka, ginger beer, and lime. It’s the perfect easy-to-make cocktail without compromising on the taste.
There’s a lot going on in this cocktail: it’s bubbly and zesty while being a little sweet and spicy. If you’re feeling fancy, you can pour it in a copper mug like it’s often served in bars to help to keep it cold. A normal glass with ice will also do the trick. Follow those steps to make this delicious drink yourself.
How to Cook Easy Moscow Mule
2 oz. Smirnoff vodka
4 oz. premium ginger beer
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice (or squeeze half of a lime)
Garnish: Wedge of lime
Copper Mug or Collins Glass (AKA a glass tumbler)
1. In a glass or a copper mug with ice, pour the vodka and a little lime juice from the wedge.
2. Add the ginger beer and decorate with the lime wedge.
3. Have a sip and if that’s not sweet enough for you, feel free to add a touch of simple syrup.
Now sit back and enjoy!
