Using just a few ingredients that you probably already have, these glazed baby carrots are incredibly simple to prepare and are a delicious side dish for any weeknight meal or special occasion.
How To Make Easy Glazed Baby Carrots
Ingredients (serves 4)
• 1 pack baby carrots (approximately 320g)
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon clear honey
• ½ tablespoon dried herbs (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 200◦C.
2. Place the carrots in a roasting pan or dish and add the butter, brown sugar, honey, and herbs, if using. Toss the ingredients thoroughly so that the carrots are coated.
3. Cook for 30-40 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes, until the carrots are tender.
These carrots taste wonderful with the basic glaze, but the addition of dried herbs will provide even more flavour. Woody herbs, such as thyme and rosemary, are good staples that will add depth, whilst dill will add a grassy freshness that complements the sweetness of the sugar and honey perfectly.
